Activities and reviews

The Activities in this section include suggestions for both guided discussion as well as follow-up activities around selected books. They allow you to encourage children to respond orally, in their own spontaneous way, before you guide them along specific lines of exploration.

When children have read a book, encourage them to write reviews online using writing frames developed by David Wray and Maureen Lewis - an exciting chance for children to write for a real audience.
