About the database
The contents of our very impressive resources collection of in-print children’s books and other materials are listed in this database of materials donated by publishers for display.
It should not be regarded as a list of recommendations but as a representative collection of what is currently available. Our hope is that by being able to view a wide range of materials in one place, visitors to the Centre can make informed decisions about what to buy according to the purpose and audience they have in mind.
It is not our policy to classify materials according to age suitability. However, we do indicate titles that will be of particular interest to ‘pre-school’ or ‘teenage’ readers.
